Housing Shortage and Foreign Aid

I have been involved with the developing world for the last two decades and most recently in Papua New Guinea, where I have been assisting the various bodies and the people in establishing a housing program that provides houses which are both durable and affordable for the people.

Unfortunately, the aid that the population in western world believes is being provided to the developing world is not reaching the people in need due to inflated bureaucratic and inefficient charities in North America and Western Europe which eat up most of the donations that people give to good causes in good faith.

The end result is that there is a misunderstanding of what is actually being done to assist the developing world, versus what is actually happening.  The reality is that the spread between rich and the poor in the world continues to increase.  My purpose in using social media is to create more awareness of these issues, and I have personal knowledge of various third world countries and cultures, coupled with my management skills, to work with landowners, small businesses and farmers in order for them to become self-sufficient.

I look forward to your interaction with me on this platform, and I thank you for reading my post.

We need more jobs in North America

Businesses can argue that it is good to manufacture and buy cheap products from China . Almost everything I have is made in China. From my Blackberry to automobile parts, barbecue; everything seems to be made in China.

We are losing our manufacturing base in USA and Canada, and new jobs are not being created in the manufacturing sector in North America. The Chinese are buying up all our bonds and securities and they will have more influence on our society in the future. How long long is this to continue? We are losing our political strength toward China, they will be controlling us. I don't like it. Do you?
